Brain Recovery Yoga consists of Gentle Yoga Postures, Breath Work (Pranayama), Meditation and Guided Visualizations. This class is designed for people with Brain Injury or PTSD. A calm and safe space is provided for the students to learn the Postures and Pranayama at their own pace. The emphasis of each class is to guide the students to go inward; to find their inner strength. The class is designed to encourage each student to improve on their internal and external strength, flexibility and balance. I will offer modifications for individuals who are unable to bring themselves into certain postures.
Brain Recovery Yoga classes welcome each student just as they are; no judgment or expectations. During class we are a community of people working together as One, towards our goal to heal and grow.
Please remember arriving on the mat is Yoga in itself. I look forward to seeing you in class.
